Thought she was ugly and didn’t believe
That anyone would like her
Looking back now

19-year-old me she was brave you see
But she too was worried about who she would be
She still thought she wasn’t good enough
But 6-year-old me, she had a dream
She wanted to sing and she made us believe
How good and happy life could be
Looking back now
I would have said

Take it easy don’t you stress
Life’s a whole lot more than you understand

Live every moment you’re living in
Life’s a whole lot sweeter than you think it is
