Walk Around the House

A walk around the house Till it's time for bed, In one of these rooms is a person sleeping, Breathing. That is the person I love, That is the person I say "I love you" to. I turn off all the lights, And I stand there in the dark, Suddenly the house seems more relaxed, More itself. That is the moment that I like, That is the moment that happens every night. This was the living room, That was a table and some chairs, That could have been a pile of magazines, That is the door to the room where I'm going to sleep.
