March of the Flowers

Summer time gives way to fall

All the leaves on the ground

Every animal scurries about

Preparing for winter snow

Hurry, hurry we haven't much time

Build a cabin deep in the woods

Safe inside our home

Shelter from the storm

Warm our bones by the fire

Ghosts of the wind

Lull us to sleep

Blizzard like never before

Hold on, try to stay warm

The winds begin to shift

Snow begins to melt

As spring draws near

In the month of March

On the meadow

Was the most beautiful sight
