Testi

A baby’s cry in Bethlehem broke through one silent night;
When Heaven’s Child, from up above, came down to bring us life.
New mercies were now dawning for this birth was in God's plan.
Christ came to show the Father’s love and save the souls of man.
The loving God, Jehovah, gave His only Son to die.
The sinless Lamb on Calvary laid His life on the line.
Three rusty nails, ripped through His flesh,
and deep into the wood.
Those nails couldn’t keep Him on the cross,
but His love for sinners could.
Mercy River started flowing from the Savior’s wounded side
So by grace, through faith, ‘ole sinners could be saved.
Mercy River has flowed over me from banks so deep and wide.
Its crimson waters washed my sins away.
Mercy River is still changing lives today.
Two thousand years have come and gone
since those timbers decayed
But the Baby born in Bethlehem left behind an empty grave.
Mercy River’s mighty current is still making sinners clean.
There’s power in that precious flow and healing in its stream.
Mercy River started flowing from the Savior’s wounded side
So by grace, through faith, ‘ole sinners could be saved.
Mercy River has flowed over me from banks so deep and wide.
Its crimson waters washed my sins away.
Mercy River is still changing lives today.
Mercy River started flowing from the Savior’s wounded side
So by grace, through faith, ‘ole sinners could be saved.
Mercy River has flowed over me from banks so deep and wide.
Its crimson waters washed my sins away.
Mercy River is still changing lives today.
Today…
Mercy River is still changing lives today.
