Overstand as a people we're perpetually blessed,

Though the system is designed to frustrate and stress,

You could guess who they protect then elect.

Know your melanin is the halo that blesses your crown,

A Royalty to spoil we, whilst antennas hold us down.

Know that resistance in all forms comes with protecting your piece,

Your silence can be the shield that saves you when you're feeling weak.

Though it feels bleak the burden is not always ours to carry,
