High Noon

Burned up by the fire

Consumed by the cleansing flames

of forces that conspire

The lowest of lows

Yet buried within the ash

a seed inside still grows

Once blackened

now beckoned

a voice is calling

Atonement

through movement

from the grave crawling

Crushed, severed in two

All that was lost

suddenly born anew

Hope, withered and dried

brought back to life

Now there's a glow inside

Life, newly sublime

Don't ever look back

before this time

A mind filled with dread

The fear of former mistakes

brings idleness instead

But the cycle can end

The strength of one move forward

leads to life once again
