Light flooding in warming up my eyes
Chains in my neck burrow in my sides
Whistles pass through glass leaving a hum in my head
Crushing weight of her smile flutters instead
There's a moment in between
When the fog keeps me peacefully clean
When I'm more if than I am me
And the weight turns to bellows of steam
When your memory's eternally mine
And a thought doesn't silence the solace inside
Barely awake a bit more alive
Weight holds my eyes lays me gently in my head
Shark green eyes hold my stare
The more I look the more I love the more I'm scared
She's stuck in my teeth come dawns desolate light
Sand sulks gums bleed
In the garden of my plight I find her picking pieces of my eye
There's a moment in between
When the fog keeps me peacefully clean
When I'm more if than I am me
And the weight turns to bellows of steam
When your memory's eternally mine
And a thought doesn't silence the solace inside
Barely awake a bit more alive
