The Whole Shebang

Me and Mr Benn flew in a hot air balloon

Midas touched the trees and autumn was in full bloom

A world at our feet

And time on our hands

In wellington boots

In a faraway land

Me and all of my friends leapt inside a Disney Cartoon

There was sooty and sweep

And the phenomenal cat

Whistling tunes

In wonderland

You’d always run far ahead and jump straight in the sea

And I’d look on from the sand

We would jump in the leaves

And talk to the push me pull you

As her majesty the Queen

Did the Can-Can

The sun was smiling too

The whole shebang

Responsibility is boring and bland

I know I had to leave

The faraway land

Responsibility was never my plan

We’ll always have wonderland
