The year was 2023, The world was just coming back together after the pandemic. Hip Hop was turning 50 years young. There were a lot of shows & tributes that year. A lot of people getting their long over due flowers. But it was bitter sweet for this small state right next door to New York. You see, the birthplace of hip hop was just a 1/2 an hour away from these people who after the disco era, gravitated to Hip Hop just as fast as the other boroughs. They formed crews & breakdanced & battled but uh… their wealth of talent got over looked. A few had left their mark but, uh…..not like the other states, not since the skinny boys & Stezo. But then the great paradigm shift, bars were back! & those that stayed true! who never put their pen down!!!…..well…..well it was their time!
