25 Hours

Always in a hurry

Always just a little behind

I wish I wouldn’t worry

But I’m always almost losing my mind

The kids are going crazy

My husband won’t pick up when I call

My boss is so damn lazy

He’s the biggest baby of all

There’s always one more thing their needing

I try to stop myself from screaming

With 25 hours I could get the whole day done

With 25 hours I could be everything to everyone

If I just had 60 more minutes

I know exactly what I’d do with it

I’d stop for a second, take a big deep breath and…

Trying to beat the traffic

It’s almost like I live in this car

It’s becoming automatic

But it shouldn’t be the way that things are

I don’t need help cause I’m not helpless

Just need some time to just be selfish
