It is so easy to tie ourselves up in a knot

And agonize over things that we think we need that we haven’t got.

Compare where we are in this life to the places we thought we’d get.

The things that we thought we would do that we haven’t yet.

It seems we’re intent on punishing ourselves for all the things that we haven’t done.
