This glorification is coming, sin has been abolished

You promised eternal life, man I should be astonished

That in spite of me, Lord, you have given me

New life by the death of your Son who has given it all

Okay, let's talk perspicuity and make it clear

Because it's only by him speaking that we're made aware

Deuteronomy 4, verse 2 gives us fortitude

We're forced to move more into adoration in the public square

Interpretive diversity can't leave us unimpaired

We'd be running scared and unaware like there was nothing there

Yo, how we validate the views while they accumulate

Without it impugning our God's ability to communicate

Let's just think about it for a second, simmer down

He's given us his revelation and it's written down

No other method we deem was seen as expedient

And if the scripture's unclear, how's he demand obedience

A lot of scholars will try to argue this underhanded

Leave some enchanted with revelation that's undemanding

I've seen smart people with no understanding

Objective clarity's still clear even when I don't understand it

Check it, I hear 'em buggin', thinkin'

This proves it, sayin' it doesn't

Find it amusin' that you can't show me

From the scriptures what you shovin'

Listen, you need a verse that calls another's clarity into question

And you can swear that it's clear, but I can say that it wasn't

Now you're looking out of place like a loosened joint

A broken fountain pen, you could never prove your point

And yet you're stubbornly pressing in like you've got it covered

Emphasizing one of the testaments to the detriment of the other

Quit stocentricism, brother, God don't need your help

Quit putting Jesus where he ain't see fit to put himself

Now the question from someone actively listening is

How we explain all of these doctrinal differences

Cause when it comes to truth, I'm not the determiner

So any wrongful views, the fault of the interpreter

It's only one of two things that's leaving us torn apart

Either it's my human weakness or it's my distorted heart
