Looks like you're running out of smiles to hide behind and I know why, but don't take it bad if I don't show. I've been spilling out lies like "I'm alright" and "things can only get better." I know we got through the winter, but I still feel the cold.

I thought I'd grown out of this believing in ghosts but I'm not alone. I know I shouldn't be here, I'm just trying to find some kind of peace of mind.

This would be so much easier if we were still asleep, fabricating the right answers in our dreams. But I've been coughing up words I wish you hadn't heard, and that you don't need to hear right now. I wish that I could explain somehow.
