12 hour drive, usual conversation

He’s shaking, he’s nervous

I feel sorry for our dog

Hope the benadryl calms him down

Driving halfway across Long Island

The synagogue covered in white roses

It’s beautiful, I tear up

Thinking about how childhood is gone

Easier back then

Perched like an owl watching from the attic

Sharp like static on the Brooklyn Bridge

Built on sand but we trust it

He’s laughing, he’s rolling

He’s 86 years old
