He told me when he was young,

Life felt so hard…

The roads were long,

The nights were cold.

But every trial,

Every tear he shed,

He felt the Lord’s hand lifting him up.

He stumbled.

He fell.

Sometimes he cried.

But Jesus whispered:

“Child, keep walking.

I’m right here.”

Through storms,

Through shadows,

Through valleys so deep—

He never walked alone.

Never alone, Lord.

Step by step, Lord,

He was walking with You.

Day by day—

You saw him through.

Over mountains,

Around stumbling blocks,

Through every valley…

He was on his way.

Yes, he was on his way

To see the King.

Now he looks back

At all the years gone by—

All the roads he traveled,

All the tears he cried—

And he says:

“He never left me alone.

The Lord stayed beside me,

Carrying me home.”

Every burden,

Every heavy load—

Jesus made a way

When he had no road.

His soul overflowed:

“The Lord’s been faithful.

Yes—everybody knows.”

He was walking with You.

He was on his way to see the King.

Jesus carried him through the storm.
