My eyes closed, my hands tied, the clean smell of washed tiles

The song of a comet repeating in my brain

And a flickering flame about to light and showing me my path ahead

My mouth is wide open, my thoughts are fixated

Words form syncopated and leave their surroundings

With each flickering flame I surrender and never give up the last great hope

A master descending, views truly breathtaking

The more I surrender, the less I offend her

And the flickering flame takes me back, as the little boy starts to grow, and the grown up man looks up from below

I hear the waves crashing, and look at horizons

My eyes are still closed, my mouth is still open

And the flickering flame is now a part of me and it will never fully consume me, and I will never extinguish it forever
