Testi

I operate without the carefully constructed barrier
The polished presentation and the manufactured area
Of comfort - where the truth gets dressed before it leaves the house
I skip the costume - skip the staging - skip the roundabout
The long way to the thing I'm trying to say
Most people add the packaging to keep the truth at bay
From landing with the weight it carries undecorated
I deliver it direct - unfiltered - unmediated
See the filtered version has a softer point of entry
A diplomatic corridor - a managed careful sentry
Standing at the door deciding what gets through and what gets softened
What gets wrapped in language so it lands a little less often
With the force it was intended - I dismantle that construction
I don't traffic in the comfortable - I deal in the production
Of the raw unvarnished version of whatever needs to land
No filter - no revision - no apology - no plan
To make it easier to swallow - I'm not in that business
The most important things I ever said I said as witness
To the moment - not the aftermath - not the reception
No filter is not reckless - it's the highest form of precision
The irony of calling this no filter is the craft it took
To find the most direct path - to know exactly where to look
For the line that cuts the cleanest - that's not careless - that's surgical
The unfiltered truth delivered with the sharpest kind of vertical
Drop - straight down - no drift - no deviation off the mark
Precision in the daylight hits the same as in the dark
I'm not unfiltered because I'm reckless with the language
I'm unfiltered because I refuse to let the message languish
In a corridor of careful - in a hallway full of hedge
I walk directly to the point and step up to the edge
Of the thing that actually needs saying - and I say it
Without the diplomatic wrapping - I display it
Raw - the way the original idea arrived
Before the second-guessing and the editing contrived
A safer version for a room that wasn't ready for the real one
I don't make the safer version - I deliver the ideal one
Consider what the filter actually filters out
Not the noise - not the excess - not the needless and the doubt
It filters out the substance - filters out the core
The filter is afraid of what the truth is actually for
Which is contact - actual contact - between the thing that's real
And the person in the room who came to actually feel
Something true - not something managed - not something brokered
Not a version of the message that's been carefully re-coached and
Softened for an audience that maybe can't receive it
Maybe they can - maybe they just needed someone to believe it
Was worth delivering at full weight without apology
No filter is a philosophy - not just a quality
Of delivery - it's the decision made before the first word
That whatever comes out next will be exactly what occurred
In the mind before the editor arrived and made it safer
No filter means the first draft and the final draft are the same paper
So here it is - exactly as it came
No production on the truth - no lighting on the frame
No angle that makes this more palatable than what it is
Just the thing itself delivered - and the thing itself is this
I made this because I had to - not because of what it brings
Not the recognition and the validation and the rings
Of approval from a room I never needed in the first place
No filter means I never needed anyone to first-rate
What I already knew was worth the saying - worth the making
Worth the hours and the process and the everything at staking
I don't filter for an audience - I don't filter for a grade
No filter is the reason that this music ever got made
Exactly as it is
