You wore your heart on your sleeve, like a tree, where's the leaf? 'Cause you cared too much, about me. We had it rough, growing up, but I had you and that was enough You were a single mom, I bet that was tough I never got to tell you despite those things that happened before you left and had to go I love you and I know that goes unsaid, but I wanted to let you know It's sad to say, that life goes on, cause I wish you would go on too No chunk of change can take your place, so I miss you and I'll see you soon.
