[Verse 1]
Gather ’round and hear the tale,
The untold story of the scaled servant of Baal.
It began in the Garden before words were written,
When the heel of man was bruised
By the serpent that had bitten.
He whispered through the branches,
Through innocence and shame,
Promising them wisdom
While cursing them in flame.
Adam reached for glory,
Eve believed the lie,
And all of Heaven trembled
The day mankind replied.
[Chorus]
ISTRYK…
ISTRYK THE EMPTY.
He deserves damnation — not your sympathy.
For he let the Devil in,
The Devil within.
He led Adam and Eve
And the whole world to sin.
Adam and Eve hid trembling,
Thinking God could not see.
And Istryk thought reward would come
For doing the Devil’s deed.
[Verse 2]
But GOD had judged and cursed him!
For he and all his kind
Would crawl upon their bellies
Through dust for all of time.
No arms and no legs,
Only hunger without end.
But for Istryk the serpent,
The curse grew deeper still then.
His belly became THE PIT!
And he the Gate to Hell!
Condemned to swallow lost souls,
Demons, and the angels that fell.
To feel their fire and torment,
Their sorrow and lament,
Forever full yet starving still —
The Empty never content.
[Chorus]
ISTRYK…
ISTRYK THE EMPTY.
He deserves damnation — not your sympathy.
For he let the Devil in,
The Devil within.
He led Adam and Eve
And the whole world to sin.
Adam and Eve hid trembling,
Believing God was blind.
And Istryk thought reward would come
For serving the Devil's design.
[Bridge]
Now deep beneath the darkness,
Below the ash and stone,
He waits beside the fires,
His sin he can't atone.
He swallows kings and tyrants,
The wicked and the damned,
Yet every soul he consumes,
Leaves The Empty still un-manned.
He crawls through dust and decay,
Devouring earth and wood,
From rock to precious flint,
For one day a trapped soul would make use of it.
To sacrifice flint and flesh for flame,
A spark against the dark,
And carve into him HIS name! Yahweh!
For he will burn his own fire.
But that's a tale from the untold,
Best told by "Fawlynn Fyrah".
[Verse 3]
On that day ISTRYK had bruised the heel of Man from what he done.
But too one day, his head would be crushed, by the Heel of Heaven's Son!
[Final Chorus]
ISTRYK…
ISTRYK THE EMPTY.
No mercy waits below,
No sympathy.
For he let the Devil in,
The Devil within.
He led Adam and Eve
And the whole world to sin.
Now he writhes beneath creation,
The cursed mouth below,
Forever starving in the dark
As the fires of judgment grow.
ISTRYK…
THE EMPTY.
