I spent so long
Trying to be loved louder
Trying to fit inside places
That never felt like home
I used to think healing would feel lonely…
but honestly?
it felt like finally meeting myself again
I wore smiles I didn't mean
Said "I'm good" through everything
Turned myself into what they wanted
Just to feel like I belonged somewhere
Got tired of chasing validation
Got tired of forcing conversations
I was losing pieces of myself
Trying to keep everybody else
I was loud when I felt unsure
Searching for worth in people who couldn't pour
Into me the way I did for them
Now I finally understand
Somewhere between the silence
And all those sleepless nights
I stopped asking who they needed
And started listening to my own life
Healing changed my frequency
Now peace looks so good on me
I stopped trying to be everything
Now I finally feel like me
I don't move like I used to
Don't chase what drains my soul
I found the version I was missing
Now I finally feel whole
This my frequency
This my frequency
Now I protect my energy like gold
Learned not every hand deserves to hold
The softer parts of who I am
I had to heal to understand
Silence taught me more than noise
Pain taught me I had a choice
I could stay the same forever
Or become somebody better
Not for them
Not for validation
Not for applause or admiration
For the little girl inside of me
Who just wanted to feel free
I buried versions of myself
That only existed to survive
And somewhere in the healing
I came alive
Moonlight on the dashboard
City lights in my eyes
Driving toward the woman
I was always meant to find
Healing changed my frequency
Now peace looks so good on me
I stopped trying to be everything
Now I finally feel like me
I don't beg energy to stay
What's aligned won't fade away
I found home inside my spirit
And nobody can take that away
This my frequency
This my frequency
