Start Over

I packed everything I owned and I moved down to Tennessee I left everything I knew in pursuit of a faded dream Without a clue I was in for such a crazy long ride I knew something good was waiting on the other side I took a couple of falls picked up some bruises along the way Still got a handful of scars to Prove every single due I paid, awe yeah And when I finally thought I was on top yeah the bottom dropped out Now I'm stuck face down trying to find my way Cleaning up the mess I made I'll just have to start over again Over time this broken heart will mend All I know is this is not the end I'll just have to start over again It took all that I had then it took a whole lot more I started going after things that were really worth fighting for And one step at a time I got back on the grind But I had to start over at the back of the line I saw a light at the end of the tunnel wasn't so far away Knew if I kept on pushing I'd make it there some day And when I finally thought I was on track yea that tunnel collapsed Now I'm underneath the rubble trying to find my way Cleaning up the mess I made (oh well) I'll just have to start over again Over time this broken heart will mend All I know is this is not the end I'll just have to start over again Yes we're gonna be alright Storm ain't gonna last forever Yes we're gonna make it outta here alive I'll just have to start over again Over time this broken heart will mend All I know is this is not the end I'll just have to start over again
