Counting Honeybees

When Pooh can't sleep 'cause his belly's rumblin'

The search for honey has left him grumblin'

Finally, into his bed he's tumblin'

To sing his counting song

He counts honeybees all night long

One honeybee starts to work all alone

Two honeybees build a honeycomb

Three honeybees, now, it's getting sweet

Four honeybees, what a tasty treat

Five honeybees, he can almost taste it

Six honeybees, that bear won't waste it

Seven, eight, nine honeybees, all right

Ten honeybees making honey tonight

He smiles as he snores 'cause he's not counting sheep, and

He doesn't know that he's only sleepin'

Deep in his dreams, he still beekeepin'

Honey pots float all around

As he counts those bees he found

One honeybee starts to work all alone

Two honeybees build a honeycomb

Three honeybees, now, it's getting sweet

He sadly sees that his dream is at an end

He sniffs and scratches and yawns

And jumps back into bed to count again
