Couldn't make out the words

But there was something about the tunes

The band went on two hours late

And there was barely anyone in the room

I always find what I'm looking for

But never really where I expect

I took some comfort

In their sound

So I stuck around for all of their set

I had a feeling

That was hard to describe

I was happy

Sad at the same time

I bought a record

And I shook their hand

We stood outside and talked

Everybody knows the world's on fire

But for the moment we forgot
