The Lighthouse

Thank you for letting us be a part of this

We wanna leave you with this

There's a lighthouse on the hillside

And it overlooks life's sea

And when I'm tossed you know it sends out a light

Yes, a light that I might see

And the light that shines in darkness now

It's gonna safely lead me on home

And I know if it wasn't for the lighthouse

I know my ship would sail no more

Everybody here that lives around us all around us

Well, they all say tear that lighthouse down

We all know the big ships

They don't even sail by this way anymore

Just ain't no use that old thing standing around

Then I hear my mind, it goes way on back

To that stormy night when just in time

Thank God, I saw the light

Don't you know it was the light

Coming down from that old lighthouse

I got big news for you

It still stands up there on the hill

And I thank God for the lighthouse

I owe my life to Him

For Jesus is the lighthouse

And from the rocks of sin

He Has shown his light around me

That I could clearly see

If it wasn't for the lighthouse

Where would this ship be?
