They tried so hard to bury it it beneath

The sight and the sound and the sun and underneath

And it’s closer than they’ve ever been

Bending through time like so

And counting the miles they roam

They see it but it’s not there

It died a long time ago

From the sight and the sound and the sun and everything

And it’s closer than they’ve ever been to it

And it’s cold black light

From everybody back home
