I am man I walk this route Everyday Gray streets and billowing smoke stacks Towards the factory A slave to the cycle A slave to my debts Work this flesh To the bone Meaningless Life I know Search for Sustenence I exist Until the work is done In the blink of an eye Things transformed before me As I fell to the ground Life was just beginning Descending to an end All hope running from me When my flesh hit the steel Darkness enveloped me Bright Flash Never Happened Flashing lights all around Swept away to decay Pariah is found Conventional healing ways Not the answer This coma This sleep Will change The sands Of time Awakened by the sound Of whispers of prototype Unaware of what it means My vision more acute My sense heightened Most of my Human flesh Morphed into Bionic mesh Dark thick skin Dark blood Scientists Standing above As the words leave their mouth I begin to perceive All the changes abound Will now define what's me Most of what I once was Now new machinery Despite what I've become Purpose surges in me I am the Genesis And I am the new age I am Becoming Pariah And I Am hope My very first steps Towards the future Are complete
