Growing Old

A New day had just begun

At the rising of the sun

And we're still awake my friend

Drinking hoping this will never end

Can we break this mold, can we not grow old

We're trying not to grow old

Reminiscing old stories untold

We're trying to relive the past

But it won't last

Now it's just you and me

Thinking about old memories

When we were young those days

We had no cares and no responsibilities

But those days are gone
