A Chance to Think

As I rode on the rising tide

I saw everything about this world go by

I never knew that I could celebrate what I wanted to do

I could not even wrap my head around anything else except to think about you

Nobody dies, nobody tries, nothing else is gonna buy me anymore time

Everyone lies, nobody tries, when someone gonna tell me why

Nobody has, nobody will help

Today will be the last day I will ever think of this

Remember all the times we had and still loving it

I think about the last day I ever had a chance

A chance to think

There’s so much more to think about if I just had a chance

A chance to rest, a chance to change

A chance to live another day

I won’t bother with anything especially this

Especially that or the fact that it’s all the things you had

Anybody with anything on that list

Especially that, they can’t be all that bad
