Feeling around for the place where I left myself

Taking my dreams, dusting them off the shelf

How long have I been gone? Too long, that I can tell

Coming out of the dark, where it felt like hell

Have I just been an empty shell?

I can see the sun start to rise

It's coming through the trees, through the windows, through the blinds
