Hope It Gets Better In Time

Slowly convince me to stay by the ashes

Of something I no longer miss

Some sick fucked up twist

To guide me

Low and behold all the meaning I found

Or created has led me astray

A world in decay surrounds me

Never imagined the words which had built my foundations would leave me bereft

It’s now time to rest

Solemnly swear my intentions were pure but I guess in that end that all worthless

Tell me now was I worthy

Or were we just destined to fail

Are there any more chances

Or should I just find something else?

Please don’t leave me forgotten and waiting till all of our memories are dead

Don’t let this end

Now I see we created a world where neither of us could survive

I think that its best that I move on

And reassess parts of my life
