World Explorers

I travel every night; I travel every day.

For what it’s worth, I’ve been to Sweden.

I’ve been to Spain, but only on Google Earth.

You can’t tell me it’s not satisfying.

I want to fly across the universe.

I check my LCD. I check my tv screen, just to see what’s new.

I need something on which to rely. Can I rely on you?

We’re world explorers now, with monitors and phones.

I live in an office chair, in Google’s glistening glare, from dusk to dawn.

I will survive the strain on my eyes—I think it’s almost gone.

You can’t tell me it’s not fascinating.

There’s more than you could ever see

 

I like to catch the sunrise and then to see it again, sunrise on demand.

I’ll go to Anchorage and to Taipei, but I will never land.
