Fly Love

I try to listen to it, but sometimes I fail

I often think I'm understanding, but not so well

I try to climb into that space where love prevails

But can i truly find that love with no love for Self

Had to visit the thought, what's really the wealth

Is it bout dollars and cents or something else

Had to check myself, and recollect myself

I wasn't sure what to expect, when I met myself

I opened up my eyes, I reorganized

Re-prioritized, and stopped living a lie

Couldn't allow another day where it passed me by

I use to try to find the true by asking why

Then I stopped asking why, refused to be blind

Imagine looking for the love when you get it in kind

Imagine thinking there's no love, but it's all in your mind

Yeah it's all in your mind, where real love is fly

Was lost but im here again

To find that light i had to look within

Im right back where it all begins

I found my will and love became my friend

I'm searching every day, but outside of me

It took a while for me to learn how to truly be free

I often tried to find, what I've seldom seen

It's That worldly love, thought it was everything

But what's everything is really not a thing

Had me delusional, it was just a Dream

I got on my dean, and my mind was clean

Had to find the middle, locate the golden mean

Troubled days are gone, back when my aim was off

And my game was off, cuz my lane was wrong

Had to state my claim, the world made me soft

It took a little while, but two changed to one

Made that contact, I'm back where I begun

And my light is on, I can see the sun

I'm on the right path, ready for what's to come

Cuz real love is fly, and my search is done
