Autumn

There are stars in my sky again

Becoming ideas

The time is new

And I am young again

Despite all the years

And love is unbound again

So the universe grows

For autumn is my spring

And so my music flows

Summer's over but the future

Is too infinite to know

My mind expands in brightly coloured air

As it did half my life ago

Days of delight are back

And the peace that they bring

I have found my hope again

For autumn is my spring
