A little girl stood by the sidewalk

Selling fresh squeezed lemonade

I had no money in my pocket

She looked at me and then she said

 If you’ll give me smile mister consider that your debt paid

And look up at that blue sky mister enjoy the beauty God has made

As I walked on down the sidewalk

A little dog had lost its way I picked him up as his owner drove up

He reached for money and I had to say

If you’ll give me smile mister the debt you think you owe is paid

Later on in church that Sunday just before we bowed to pay

Instead of money for the offering we all heard the preach say

Please just smile at one another and that’s all I ask today

And look up towards the heaven’s brother enjoy the blessings of this day
