Outside there's buzzing in the streets out there

Can't hide the apathy in your stare

I'm tired I crawl into my bed

Each time an echo until we're dead

When everything is quiet

I won't make a sound

I don't think that you noticed

But I wish you were around

Swaying like a flower

Planted in the ground

I picked you but you wilt away before the sun goes down

Picking off the petals you count them as they fall

He'll never let me go

But we're back where we started

Standing on our own
