Minding my own business I was cruising I was striving when you cast your spell it was too late

I was left without a dime stranded at the city line so far away

It was too much, too fast crossing every boundary, pointing at the promised land

I use to think love was a very simple silly game to play

I was never willin

To lose my feelin

When I was a kid I use to climb up on a tree

I use to watch a girl play from far away

Dreaming we could take a trip to another galaxy together

It felt so right, so real, love was manifesting right in front of me

I promised to myself that I would never let that feeling go away

When you came into my life, turned it upside down and drove me crazy

I was trying to survive but I just can't take it
