Fog on the mountain, dog on the couch

Rain on the river and words in my mouth

Sleep so lovely, sleep while you can

Every day is an early one for a worried man

Fog on the ridge line where the trees turn red

Watch it tumble down the holler to the fog in my head

Is it fog on the sun that makes the light so thin?

Or is it fires in the west while we burn within?
