Leveled Up

I think love's overrated And I do not like to use this word But I hated You blaming me when you were insecure I get it I'd have done those same things if I were you But my friend said He saw you out with someone new And it's not so much that I was envious But I mentioned it when I saw you next And you told me about the things he did How'd it feel to not be enough When you're trying your best for the one you love? I'm just glad to see that you leveled up I hate to brag but in my defense What goes around will come back again I'm just glad to see that you leveled up from me There's a German Word used to describe my mood When I heard that You got played the way I got played by you And I'm certain He took it farther than you deserved it But it must have broadened your point of view 'Cause you apologized for what you did to me It was the hottest thing you ever said to me And suddenly it did not hurt so bad 'Cause now you know how it feels to not be enough When you're tying your best for the one you love I'm just glad to see that you leveled up I hate to brag, but in my defense What goes around will come back again I'm just glad to see that you leveled up from me
