Eyes are gazing

Contemplating

From a distance

Coexistence

Learning why

You've got a room with a scenic view

Reserved for the precious few

And why

I must live in a darker space

Before I can obtain your grace

Ears are aching

Simulating

Every cry

That was yelled in the combat zone

Goodbye to the life we've known

But how?

 A disturbance of harmony?

It's our new reality

I was out on the road to nowhere

Cooling down my urge for warfare

Contradictions threw me in the deep end

Big expenses, way too little to spend

Made a tough and definite decision:

To keep you safe from fierce confrontations

Eventually my choice will make you lonely

But as they say: Better safe than sorry

That is why

No one's coming to rescue you

Still tied to the same old view

No change

Our worlds interfere with life

One strange non-productive strife
