歌詞

It was in October of 1985, down in Sorrento. All the tourists had gone by then. We asked our friends if they had something that could float, so we could go out fishing. We went down to the harbour, in the middle of the night, and jumped on a 500 HP Cigarette boat. Across the bay, into the moonlight, down south.
Didn't we sail - across the bay.
You were wearing a red leather pencil skirt and red high heels. On a boat!? Anyway, we set out, sailed down south between Punta Campanella and Capri, down to the Galli Islands, where Nurejev used to live, into the Baia di Recommone, to a little restaurant. Before, we'd been fishing for a long time, and we'd caught a bunch of stuff. Oh yes we did.
Didn't we sail - across the bay.
When we got into that bay, we landed at a little restaurant where the cook was waiting for us, and we gave him our catch – mainly calamari – and he got to work. We started off with seafood, then we had pasta with seafood, then we had spaghetti vongole, then we had spaghetti with seafood, then we had some more seafood, and champagne, and orata, and calamari fritti, una frittura di pesce.
Didn't we sail – across the bay.
In the moonlight, it's so beautiful, aah, so beautiful, with the girl you love by your side. „When the moon hits the sky like a big pizza pie“, that's amore. Aah, that's amore.
