The Devil Dressed in Green

I walk in to a bar, i see this women passing by.

she walks up to me, she said, Will you buy me a drink or die?

She reached for a bottle, the bartender went away.

oh, She grabbed me by my arm and the she pulled me away.

She looked the door, put the bottle to my mouth.

i asked if she was busy, she said ” Don’t you ask me twice”.

oh this woman is loving my soul. I’m gonna be with the holy ghost.

she’s gonna whisper in my ear all night, i hope that the preacher forgives my

sins tonight

Suddenly runs away in the light, only her blonde hair to follow in to the night.

Was this the woman of my life or is this just another delusion.

She was gone in to the night, maybe i go back to the city city life.

When i turned around she was standing there with them red demon eyes,

She looked the door, put the bottle to my mouth.

i asked if she was busy, she said ” boy, you already asked me twice”.

I haven’t heard the angels sing, the devil dresses in green.

i can only tell you one thing about the story that i have.

every time i sit down in a bar. She always passes by.

when i look in to the darkness i see those blue red eyes.

if she’s getting closer, she said don’t blame my ass.

I sold my soul that night, to a woman dressed in green.
