I've been on hiatus

And not because I wanted to

Yeah last year was pretty rough

It prevented me from doing stuff

Can you blame us

All us creative types, we feel

Useless if we're not

Contributing to the art you want

I had no motivation

To finish even a single thought

I'm starting to be more courageous

I don't need to prove that I'm anything I'm not

I'm on my hiatus

There were many times I wanted to release something that I made

But it just didn't feel the same

As my previous efforts

To sort out what's in my brain

From my headphones to yours

That person I once adored
