Welcome

He had equal status with God,

but didn’t think so much of himself

And when the time came, he took on the role,

of slave when became human

Incredibly humbling process

when obedient and selfless give up,

the life to set all us free

The Father in Heaven He says

Welcome, to the Prince of peace

Welcome, home my child

Welcome, to the crown of life

Welcome home

Because obedience matter the most

The Father lifted Him up high and

He was honored far beyond men

and anything ever living

So that all created beings

in heaven, earth thru ages

Will bow in worship, call out

that He’s the Master of all

Welcome, to the Prince of peace

Welcome, home my child
