Forgive my anger, all my frustration

My lack of Patience, things that I say

Round pegs in square holes, misfits in old clothes

Dreams that have grown old and stand in the way

I’ve been uneasy all of these reasons

Wracked by the demons of the noon day

Forgive my outrage, every blank page, every dark stage

Headed my way

When I was younger, I had a hunger

I had passion for growth and change

I changed myself but I couldn’t change others

Forgive me all things that stay the same

Reading too much news, suffering the blues

Wondering why truth’s nothing today

Furious motions of my emotions

Ignorant notions ruin the day

If you grow weary of what you are hearing

That gifted this beauty I dare complain

There must be a button that can make nothing

Of all the loving in my brain
