Take shape

And give way

To new philosophy

But in its wake

You’ll ache

To feel what you once felt

The dreams I’ve had since I was a kid

Only seem to grow more distant

It’s time to close the gap

My body burns with the urgency of now

Won’t sit and wait

For the great

I bet you just want me to shut up

But I’ve got so much more to say
