One Day

Another day is lost Left to suffer all night long Then waking up to someone gone Maybe one day they'll stay til dawn Without a sound They always up and leave I'm starting to think the problem is Probably just me After all this only lasts for short time Another blink then you and I will have passed by Maybe one day I'll settle down Maybe one day I won't be around Til then I'll search for someone to keep me company I've given some thought to this And all the people that I miss It's a pretty long list when you're 26 could Probably be shorter if I'd give shit But I've Been spending all my time Drawing so many lines in the sand Cause I don't understand how to open a hand, be a real friend And again Another day's gone by Where I spent all my time thinking of change Instead of living After all this only lasts for short time Another blink then you and I will have passed by Maybe one day I'll settle down Maybe one day I won't be around Til then I'll search for someone to keep me company Wish I could just let someone in As my patience grows so thin Wish I could stop and let this go All this weight is miserable Another night I'll spend alone because my head is in a hole Maybe I'll dig it up tomorrow... doubtful After all this only lasts for short time Another blink then you and I will have passed by Maybe one day I'll settle down Maybe one day I won't be around Maybe one day I'll settle down Maybe one day I'll find someone
