The Dissent

And so our hero, having reached the top tier of tyranny

Now finds himself at odds with his soullessness

A vacant vessel save for his thoughts

Which vacillate between what appears to be power

And tears for the powerless

The return of a conscience, previously suppressed

But is it too little, too late, he wondered

Once you've sworn yourself to STIGMA, can you dissent

Can you repent

Is our hero at a crossroads or is this the beginning of the end
