Heading Kadath

I must confess, that I do not know

How I found myself on that quest

My nights were fueled by purpose and dread

Visions were dancing in my head

Cosmic forces, beyond mortal ken

Leading me through night’s embrace

Heading Kadath, where illusions play

I’m on my quest - I’ll find the way!

Go, straight into the unknown

This quest will reveal truths of a cosmic kind

Go, where reality halts

Where moonlight blurs and where all forms are undefined

Have I really gone, into the dream world

Majestic and enigmatic

Along my way, reality sways

My mind is facing the unknown

The boundary between our dreams

and reality (we know) is porous,

They’re still alive, truths of a cosmic kind

In the recesses of my mind
