I was walking through the mountains pulling every step out of me

My body was in protest because I'm meant to be free

oh I didn't feel like walking I just felt like I should work

I was creeping through the caves saw the wonders of the inner world

A valley underneath the skin in humble peace it lay within

Yet as soon as I got out again to the valleys full of green

My heart put back its shields again no light to be seen

Only for a moment I felt joy instead of hurt

Just to realise that the next moment it returned

I asked my soul

How can you feel so empty when the world inside's so full?

My home is all around me to be found when I return
