there's a whole world

sitting right there on the shelf

in which i meet a boy on the street

living in danger

of falling till i can't catch myself

but could it be that he catches me

he could be my quiet in the storm

glueing all the pages that were torn

giving me a rush from within

even just by brushing my skin

i want a love that i would live for

i want a love that we could kill for

burning emotion that won't leave me broken

but that's only found in fantasy

i need a love made of poetry

the world is drowning

but we are surrounded by flames

from the heat of our matching heartbeats

we dance with shadows

hold out your hand and i'll take

play with fire but with you im safe
